Posterclips -- An Innovation For Poster Sessions

(PRWEB) July 2, 2007 --"If I had a dollar for every time a delegate in the poster exhibition hall asked my staff 'Can I borrow some scissors?' or 'Do you have any spare Velcro dots' I would have sold my conference business a lot earlier than I did!"

Colleen Wenn was the Managing Director of The Meeting Planners for 20 years before she sold her business in 2006 to have a break, and to relax.

"But I couldn't help revisiting some ideas and opportunities that had arisen out of my experiences in the conference industry. One of these ideas became Posterclips, a poster mounting device which I am confident will revolutionise the mounting of posters at conferences.

"Until now mounting posters within exhibition halls involved pins, sticky tape, or the use of Velcro tape or dots, all of which are messy and damage posters. But I found that the biggest issue for conference or venue managers was the never ending requests for assistance from delegates who did not have the right tools for the job. And when you are managing thousands of people, the last thing you need is extra pressure on your staff. There had to be an easier way, and Posterclips is it."

Ms. Wenn has engineered a clear plastic, reusable clip which attaches to a range of surfaces, allowing the poster to be held firmly in position by two plastic arms without damaging the poster, ensuring the poster may be reused time and again. Posterclips are sold in packs of four, allowing one Posterclip for each corner of a large laminated poster."

So where and when will Posterclips be available? "Posterclips are currently available online at www.posterclips.com. Whilst we are targeting the conference sector Posterclips are perfect for mounting posters at school, in the home or at work, so we anticipate that the public will take an interest as well."
