"Businesses want to outsource their voicemail system so they can have a full-featured corporate PBX-type phone system for a fraction of the cost of a traditional network," said Jay Reeder, CEO of

local number availability. They don’t want their customers to pay long distance, and they don’t like the impersonal nature of an 800 number. That’s why we launched this initiative. Other voice service providers claim around an 85% coverage rate, but tend to define that as "coverage of the top 100 metropolitan statistical areas." This means that other hosted solution providers are focusing core markets, but largely ignoring local number coverage in the rest of the country. Jay is quick to reinforce this idea, pointing out, "Our competition loves to focus on the ‘Superbowl Cities’ and other first-tier markets. They sometimes cover second-tier markets, but rarely will they go into third-tier areas.
